Garlic Basil Linguine is one of the flavored pastas Pasta Sonoma pioneered: linguine scented with real garlic and basil, not a dusting of Italian seasoning after the fact.
The dough still starts with premium durum and semolina from Montana hard amber durum wheat. We add all-natural garlic and basil, then dry the strands in small batches so the flavor stays in the noodle, not only in the sauce.
It is the pasta you cook when the sauce is just olive oil, a little pasta water, and maybe shrimp or cherry tomatoes. The noodle does the seasoning.
Best with: olive oil, shrimp, burst tomatoes, grilled chicken. Available in 4-packs and 6-packs. All-natural flavor; handmade in Sonoma County.
